In October of 2016, the University of Manitoba Engineering Society (UMES) was seeking funding for a new UMES project to preserve the history of the Faculty of Engineering.
The Foundation donated $1,400 to support this UMES project.
UMES collected photographs of student life from various sources, sorted them by decade, and put them in seven 4’ x 6’ frames mounted in the halls of the Engineering and Information Technology Complex (EITC).
The history frame display is across the hallway from the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Engineering Design Studio (Room E2-229) in EITC.
